Distinguished Veteran, Father of Meleata Small s Pinto

One of the things I most appreciate about my life is being a military brat. Moving to different areas of the country and meeting people from all walks of life are gifts that came from being in a military family. But those gifts were a result of a LOT of sacrifice. My dad served in Vietnam, was stationed in Korea, and lived apart from our family for part of my high school years. Nevertheless, his sacrifice, hard work and dedication, provided our family so many life experiences for which I am eternally grateful. In honor of Veterans Day, I salute Thomas E Smalls and my many relatives and friends who have served or are serving our country. Happy Veteran’s Day!!
